Walk A Mile In Her Shoes is a walk that promotes awareness about sexualized violence against women while raising funds for local domestic violence shelters. Men literally walk a mile in women’s high-heeled shoes, which isn’t easy. However it is a fun way to get people discussing the problems of rape, sexual assault and gender violence.
Walk a Mile In Her Shoes was featured in the first book, you can read the interview with founder, Frank Baird about why he started this awareness walk for men to work towards ending gender violence.
This wonderful campaign is spreading across the world and has been gaining ground at university and college campuses. Check out some of the amazing schools that have hosted walks in 2014.
